Smart Action for the Value Of Innovation and Research in data

Together,
let’s lay the foundation for tomorrow’s real-world data

Recognized as a unique opportunity, the SAVOIR project, driven by domain experts, goes beyond local boundaries to achieve a critical mass in the secondary use of real-world data. This collective intelligence makes it possible to optimize algorithm performance and deliver multidisciplinary solutions to regional challenges. Through this cooperative approach, the first building blocks of a shared real-world data ecosystem are being established, strengthening the region’s digital autonomy.

Your data has a story,
SAVOIR brings it to life.

SAVOIR will help foster the emergence of a true Caribbean scientific diaspora by encouraging exchanges, collaborations, and the sharing of expertise among regional stakeholders. Building on this collective dynamic, the project aims to accelerate the digital transformation in healthcare by facilitating access to data, supporting innovation, and strengthening research capacities to address local health challenges.

Building a Shared Data Space for the Cooperation Zone

Smart Action for the Value Of Innovation and Research in data

The main objective of the SAVOIR project is to lay the foundations of a common real-world data space in the Caribbean region and to provide multidisciplinary responses to the challenges of the cooperation area.

Data Infrastructure and Governance

Data protection and compliance with international regulatory frameworks form the foundation of the project. SAVOIR relies on robust, secure, and interoperable infrastructures to ensure reliable, ethical, and controlled data sharing.

Skills Development

SAVOIR includes a strong human and organizational dimension through a structured training ecosystem. The goal is to develop skills in digital health, as well as in the management and analysis of real-world big data.

Data Structuring and Valorization

Data is harmonized, standardized, and organized within a common framework. This structuring enables the production of reliable and comparable knowledge, supporting research, epidemiological surveillance, and public health decision-making.

FAQ

Understanding the SAVOIR Project

Do you have questions about the project and its scientific challenges? Find clear and accessible answers here.

The Caribbean faces many of the same public health challenges, yet resources, expertise, and health information systems vary considerably across territories. The SAVOIR project was born from a shared commitment to bring these strengths together in order to strengthen the capacities of each territory. Rather than developing isolated solutions, we chose to build a regional network based on knowledge sharing, training, and innovation around real-world data.
